On the 16th I attended a wonderful Social Media workshop
presented by Rene Fabre at Borders Books in Gig Harbor.
René is known throughout the Pacific Northwest for his innovative marketing programs. He’s a sought after speaker and motivator with an insightful approach to contemporary marketing. His obvious passion for the subject is contagious.
René is founder of ARFCO Media and The Blackberry Chronicles. He also works for The Talon Group (escrow & title services) where he heads up Special Projects and New Media Marketing. An avid blogger, you’ll also find him on the Activerain network.
Given the premise that web search engines want to know who, what and where, we were encouraged to complete our Google Profiles and claim our business locations on Google My Business.
We also found out about a free photo editing service online for those all important camera pics taken with our phone and web cams for our social media outlets, Picnik (no longer in business). A simple to use, yet powerful editing tool. You can automatically link it to your online picture service such as Picasa or Flickr for exceptional ease of editing.
