The image on the left is a flyer I created for Peninsula Truck Lines announcing their new service in select cities on the Oregon Coast. I also optimized the flyer for use in an email blast.

EbbetsField Flannels 2012 Spring-Summer Catalog

This image shows Jo Tinker on the cover of the 24-page 2012 Ebbets Field Flannel print catalog I created.

Joe Tinker was a member of the Federal League’s Chicago Whales (also known as the Chifeds). The great Cubs shortstop was one third of the legendary double play trio “Tinker to Evers to Chance”, immortalized in the poem “Baseball’s Sad Lexicon” by Franklin Pierce Adams.

Tinker fell out with Evers in 1905, and the two did not speak for 33 years. After the Cubs traded him to Cincinnati, Tinker jumped to the upstart Federal League in 1914 where he was player-manager of the Chicago club.

He led the Whales to the pennant in 1915. (The ballpark that would become Wrigley Field hosted a pennant-winning team in only its second year of existence. It would happen only one more time in the next 96 years). Tinker returned to the Cubs briefly after the Feds folded. He managed the Orlando Gulls in the Florida State League in 1937.
